The former Friends star is believed to have spent nearly two years developing the project, but has yet to settle on a title for her scent.
The actress apparently wanted the product to simply be called Aniston. However, the idea was turned down by advertising executives, along with her second suggestion of Echo.
An insider told OK: "[Aniston] has yet to get 100% behind any name, but the one she favours is Aniston.
"It's all about capturing the idea of romance and freedom at any age, but it's hard to do that in just one word. Jen wants to unleash some really glamorous commercials on TV."
