Prinze, Gellar daughter 'has best name'

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr's daughter has topped a poll to find the best celebrity baby name of 2009, according to Us Weekly.

The former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star and Prinze welcomed daughter Charlotte Grace last September.

In a survey of more than 5,000 mothers by Baby Centre, the 5-month-old scooped 49% of the vote to win the title of favourite baby name of the year.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's 14-month-old daughter Seraphina Rose came second, with 12% of the votes.

However, Gellar's former co-star Alyson Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof's choice of Satyana for their daughter was reportedly among the less appealing names, with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's son Sparrow James Midnight being voted the least favourite.

Another recent poll to find the worst celebrity baby names of the year had placed My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way and musician wife Lyn-Z in first place with their daughter Bandit Lee.
