Marie Osmond's son laid to rest

Marie Osmond has buried her son Michael Blosil today.

According to People, the entire extended Osmond family gathered to say their farewells and Donny delivered the invocation through tears.

The 18-year-old committed suicide just a week ago.

The service was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel in Provo, UT and a slideshow of Michael as a child played to mourners in the lobby.

Hundreds of friends and family streamed into the place of worship, which was decorated with dozens of huge flower arrangements, including calla lilies, roses and stargazer lilies.

Thomas S. Monson, the president of the church, conducted the service.
