Paparazzi are 'scumbags' says Church

Charlotte Church's mother has made her feelings about paparazzi known, branding them "absolute scumbags."

Maria Church told 5 Live: "I've been with Charlotte when we've been pushed, stamped on, anything to get that photo. I have no respect for them whatsoever, I don't see it as a job."

She also spoke about her daughter's naivety regarding her love life. After being attached to model Steven Johnson and trainee hotel manager Kyle Johnson, she is now going out with Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson.

Maria explained: "She wouldn't listen, I knew it was going to happen. She knew it was going to happen with Steven, I think, but not so much with Kyle."
