Andre fires back at Price over Ford fling

Peter Andre has hit out at Katie Price following claims that his ex-wife is outraged by his fling with Maddy Ford.

Last week, it was reported that Price had branded her former partner a "lying b**tard" in conversations with a friend after the popstar's relationship was exposed in the media.

Andre was recently forced to admit that he had been involved with Ford for three months after the stylist sold her story to a newspaper. Price was said to have later remarked: "He's been saying he hasn't had sex, but all along he has."

Writing in his New magazine column, Andre commented: "Apparently my ex-wife has been totally outraged by my fling with Maddy and was very quick to label me a liar and a cheat last week.

"Kate claimed six months ago that I had a secret girlfriend and that the truth would come out one day. A lot of people have therefore wrongly come to the conclusion that she was talking about Maddy.

"I can categorically state that this is totally untrue and I have not had a girlfriend since my divorce. And, more to the point, I hadn't even met Maddy when Kate said this!"

The singer told the publication that he was "totally honest with Maddy from the start" by informing her that he did not want their relationship to be "anything serious".

He added: "I have never deliberately deceived anyone. I'm a single man. I said I'd remain celibate until after my divorce and I did. This was a decision made by me and no-one else."
