Jeremy Renner: 'I'm single and looking'

Jeremy Renner has joked about rumours that he has started dating Jessica Simpson.

Earlier this week, reports claimed that the pair exchanged numbers and were "flirting up a storm" at a party for Renner's film The Hurt Locker.

However, Renner told Us Weekly that he only met Simpson for "three minutes".

"Her hair stylist [Ken Paves] did my mum's hair so we were talking about that, and then all of a sudden we're dating," he explained. "I'm single - and looking!"

However, Renner added: "I'm not a ladies' man. I'm a working man. That's all."
