Jesse James: 'Sandra deserved Oscar'

Jesse James has said that wife Sandra Bullock deserved to win an Oscar on Sunday night.

Bullock garnered an Academy Award for 'Best Actress' for her role in The Blind Side. The Motorcycle Mania host said that he is proud of his wife's accomplishment.

"She deserves it more than anybody," James told Us Weekly at the Governor's Ball on Sunday. "I got teary-eyed when she won. I'm so happy. This is a big night for us. Normally we're in bed by 9 o'clock!"

On Monday, the couple celebrated Bullock's win with a lunch at the Long Beach, CA Cisco Burger, which James opened in 2006.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the actress had claimed that she intended to eat "a juicy burger".

"I want fries. I want soft-serve ice cream," she said. "And I want to look at [Jesse] and say, 'Thank you'."

Bullock is slated to appear in the upcoming films The Sprinkler Queen, The Jingle, One of the Guys and Kiss & Tango.
