Osmond returns to stage after son's death

Marie Osmond has returned to the stage for the first time since the death of her teenage son.

According to People, the performer joined brother Donny for their 'Donny & Marie Show' at the Flamingo Las Vegas last night.

The show had been postponed since the death of Michael, 18, who is believed to have jumped from an apartment building on February 26.

"The way Osmonds survive is we keep singing. That's what we want to do tonight. I know my son would want that and this show is for him," Marie reportedly told the audience.

She is believed to have dedicated an opera song to her son, while Donny asked the audience to give his sister "a big round of applause for... even coming on stage".

Michael was buried in Utah on Monday.
