Simpson: 'Romo and I are still friends'

Jessica Simpson has said that she is still friends with ex Tony Romo, according to People.

The singer was in a relationship with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, who broke up with Simpson on her 29th birthday, for nearly two years.

In an appearance on the The Late Show with David Letterman, Simpson claimed that she is still a fan of Romo.

"Tony is great, still a friend of mine," she said. "I still look at his cute butt in the outfit - uniform."

The 29-year-old recounted that her relationship with Romo was more relaxed than her past romances with exes John Mayer and Nick Lachey.

"I actually got to live a pretty normal life when I dated Tony - other than the whole jinx situation," she said in reference to some Cowboys fans blaming Simpson for the team's losses.

Simpson appeared on The Late Show in support of her upcoming reality show The Price of Beauty, which premieres on VH1 on Monday, March 15.
