Pattinson: 'I miss my dead dog'

Robert Pattinson has revealed that he misses his dead dog.

The star, who recently confirmed that he is in a relationship with his New Moon co-star Kristen Stewart, said that his relationship with his old pet was a "defining moment" in his life.

Pattinson told Parade magazine: "I keep talking about my dog all the time. It was an incredible dog, and I said in an interview recently he was the most important person in my life. My family went crazy with me for saying that.

"But, however ridiculous it may seem to some people, my relationship with my dog was a defining moment. Having the dog die was, literally, like the worst day of my life. It was like losing a family member."

Last year, Pattinson said that if he wasn't a human, he would choose to be a dog because their lifestyle "fascinates" him.
