Sharon Osbourne: 'I'm happy for Dannii'

Sharon Osbourne has said that she is happy for Dannii Minogue after her former X Factor rival announced her pregnancy.

The ex-talent judge told Heat that she wishes Minogue well with her child despite their lack of friendship.

When asked if she had sent a congratulatory card, Osbourne said: "Erm, no. But I'm happy for her.

"I mean, it's the best thing in the world to have a baby. It's the best gift a woman can ever have. It's a blessing, so I'm glad she is."

Of their reported rift, she added: "Not a rift - I just didn't like working with her. There was no competition between us. Not like, 'I'm prettier than you, I'm thinner than you, I'm more popular than you'.

"Everybody knows that I'm all of those things! I'm joking! There was never any of that. But as one woman to another, there was no rapport, no respect."

Osbourne has reportedly called Minogue "f**king useless" in recent weeks, prompting Minogue to reply that the comments were "very sad".
