Hefner: 'Kendra is a wonderful mother'

Hugh Hefner has claimed that Kendra Wilkinson is a "wonderful" mother.

The former Girls Next Door star, who gave birth in December, introduced her son Hank Baskett IV to Hefner earlier this month.

"The baby is a winner!" Hefner told People. "He's a gorgeous baby. Kendra should be very proud."

He also revealed that he wishes Wilkinson and her husband Hank Baskett the best for the future.

"It's wonderful and I'm happy for her," he said. "I love Kendra and Hank and I love them together. Kendra has always been very dear and her heart has always been very pure."

Hefner added that Wilkinson has taken to motherhood well, explaining: "Her entire focus now is with Hank and little Hank. She's a wonderful mother and little Hank is in good hands.

"She was the wild child when I first met her and she wound up being the first of the bunch to get married here at the Playboy mansion. Now she has a baby. It's the stuff that dreams are made of."
