Showbiz Spy says that the actress star has placed her $8.4m (£5.6m) mansion on the market as part of plans to move away from Beverly Hills.
According to the listing for the 7,600 sq ft property - which boasts six bedrooms, a terrace, a swimming pool as well as a spa - offers homeowners the chance to "live the life about which most people can only dream".
In January, reports emerged that Barton was being sued for three months of unpaid rent on her New York apartment.
Barton signed a one-year lease on the residence last September as a temporary home while she filmed ill-fated TV series The Beautiful Life, which was axed after just two episodes.
