Corey Haim to be buried in Toronto

The former manager of Corey Haim has confirmed that the actor will be buried in his native Toronto, according to Us Weekly.

The Lost Boys star died on Wednesday from a rumoured drug overdose, though his cause of death is still being investigated.

Manager Marc Haislip has said that Haim's family wishes to bury the actor "back home" and is currently planning a Los Angeles memorial.

The family is asking for donations from the Hollywood community to help fund Haim's burial and service. The actor suffered from financial difficulties and lived in a low-rent Los Angeles apartment with his ailing mother Judy.

"She's not doing well at all. This is really hitting her," Haislip said of Haim's mother, who is battling cancer.

The Los Angeles Coroner's officer completed Haim's autopsy on Thursday, though toxicology findings will delay a public announcement for another six to eight weeks.
