Pop star George Michael is auctioning his car on eBay.

The black Range Rover, which has the registration J5 STUD, has attracted over £4000 in bids.

The advert says, "This is a unique opportunity to own a car owned by one of the most talented singer/songwriters of modern times.

"It is without question a one-off, as this gentleman’s vehicles never see the private ad columns and would normally be handed down to family or friends. The proceeds of this sale will be going to worthy causes."

A spokeswoman for Michael explained, "George has decided to sell the car to raise money for his favourite charities."
