Youth charged over Susan Boyle 'theft'

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in relation to an alleged theft at Susan Boyle's house in January.

Boyle disturbed an intruder at her Blackburn, West Lothian home when she returned from a trip to London, where she had been recording her vocals on the Helping Haiti single.

According to Sky News, Lothian and Borders Police said: "A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft that happened on January 26.

"He will now be subject to a report to the Children's Reporter."

At the time of the incident, Boyle quipped that the intruder was more scared than she was.
