Gerard Butler: 'Aniston is like family'

Gerard Butler has said that he feels like a member of Jennifer Aniston's family.

The actor said that he became close to Aniston while filming The Bounty Hunter and gushed about his co-star at the London premiere of the film on Thursday night.

"I literally became a member of her family," Butler told People. "I went down for her birthday in Mexico. Of course, everyone takes that as something else, but we are very good friends."

Media reports have suggested that Butler and Aniston are involved romantically, though the two have denied these claims.

However, Aniston has confirmed that she has a high opinion of Butler: "He's funny and handsome – [a] nice combo!"

The Bounty Hunter will appear in US theatres nationwide on March 19.
