Cheryl snubs last-ditch marriage talks

Cheryl Cole reportedly told Ashley to leave after spending only 20 minutes at their £3 million Surrey home.

Last night's meeting marked the first time the estranged couple have come face-to-face in a month. Cheryl, who is suffering from bronchitis, refused to speak to the footballer after he flew back from France, the Sunday Mirror reports.

The singer's mother, Joan, asked him to leave after he was given less than half-an-hour to pack some clothes. Ashley, 29, was reportedly earlier boasting to friends that he would win back the X Factor judge with ease.

A source revealed: "Cheryl was furious that he just turned up and was even more angry when he thought they would be able to talk.

"She's sick to death of being labelled a pushover. She's going to talk to him on her terms when she wants to. She was livid that he turned up at the house with hardly any warning."

Cheryl earlier said that she cannot forgive the sportsman for his alleged infidelity.
