Keating call "haunts" Gately's husband

Andy Cowles is reportedly still haunted by the moment he had to confirm to Ronan Keating that Stephen Gately was dead.

The late singer's husband revealed that a desperate Keating broke down during the emotional phone conversation, which came just hours after the singer died, aged 33, while on holiday in Majorca last October.

"Ronan was just begging me to tell him it wasn't true," Cowles, 32, said in a tribute to the Boyzone singer which will be screened on ITV next Sunday.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Robbie Williams, Nadine Coyle, Nicky Byrne and Torvill and Dean will all share their memories of the Irish star in the programme.
