Celine Dion plans to dedicate the proceeds from her Mother's Day concert in Las Vegas to charity to aid victims of the Asian Tsunami.
A statement from the singer said: "Our goal is to raise $1 million but we're hoping to go far beyond that since all the money is going to UNICEF to help these people get their lives back."
Included in the fund-raising effort will be sponsorship packages, a commemorative programme, a silent auction with a dinner laid on by Celine's personal chef, and collection boxes at the event at Caesar's Palace.
