Heather Mills denies airport 'fury'

Heather Mills has insisted that she was not "furious" when her prosthetic leg had to be checked for explosives at Heathrow.

Yesterday, it was reported that the former model appeared angry and humiliated when the security measure took place at the airport last week.

However, a spokesperson for Mills said: "Heather complied with security's requirements with good grace.

"Heather wasn't furious at all, she completely understands what has to be done for 21st century travel."

It is thought that Mills's artificial limb was swabbed as a precaution because it had set off an alarm as the star passed through security for a flight to the US.

The former Dancing On Ice contestant was flying to the States to promote her new range of meat-free ready meals.
