The Twilight actress wore a pink, strapless gown by Elie Saab to this month's ceremony, where she was nominated in the 'Best Supporting Actress' category for her work in 'Up In The Air'.
Speaking to People, she said: "I feel like it's timeless and I wanted that moment to be a picture that I can look back on in 50 years and not think, 'Oh my God, what was I thinking? That's so 2010!'"
Kendrick's stylist added that the actress abandoned her initial dress choice two days before the event because "it wasn't right", but that she was "immediately happy" with the Elie Saab creation.
