Manuel explained that Banks, who has been dating the businessman since 2007, is happy with her partner.
"I've seen Tyra in her current relationship, and I think she's very much herself," he told In Touch Weekly. "When you see that real moment, she's comfortable - and being comfortable is the most important thing."
He added: "I think she definitely will [wed Utendahl], but does she have plans to get married right now? Not that I know of yet!"
In September, Banks denied rumours that she was engaged to Utendahl.
