Corey Haim laid to rest in Toronto

Corey Haim has been laid to rest by close friends and family at a private funeral in Toronto.

The Lost Boys actor passed away on March 10 after collapsing at his Los Angeles home. He was 38.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, a friend who attended the memorial described it as "beautiful, small, private and quiet".

The hearse carrying Haim's coffin was reportedly given a police escort between the morgue and the gravesite.

Close friend and former co-star Corey Feldman previously said that he would not be attending the funeral in order to respect the family's wishes for privacy, but revealed that he is planning to stage a memorial for Haim soon.

Earlier this week, authorities released the 911 call made by Haim's mother on the morning of his death.
