Barrowman will play the lead, while the cult '80s TV duo are cast as the Chinese policemen. The show starts in December.
It will be the first time that The Krankies, real names Janette and Ian Tough, have starred in pantomime in Glasgow since 2004, when Janette was nearly killed in an on-stage accident with a mechanical beanstalk.
The 62-year-old fell from the stage prop and fractured her skull at the Pavillion Theatre.
"The Krankies are synonymous with the great tradition of pantomime in Glasgow and we are thrilled that they will be appearing," Qdos Entertainment managing director Michael Harrison told the BBC.
"We have been working with Ian and Janette over the past few seasons and they are widely regarded as being masters of the genre."
