Gallacher 'upset' over Tiger Woods rumours

Kirsty Gallacher has said that she is upset over rumours linking her to golfer Tiger Woods.

The pair have been friends since childhood and Gallacher told the Evening Times that legal action had been taken over online conjecture over the nature of their relationship.

Gallacher said: "It was all speculation and it was incorrect. It was very upsetting. I knew I was being talked about and that's why lawyers were involved.

"But what you do in this job is you get quite strong because you know things will come at you. And I've always had the support of family and friends. We've all had the rubbish thrown at us but you deal with it."

Woods recently announced his return to golf at this year's US Masters after taking a break from the game following his confession of a series of extra-marital affairs.
