Comedian slammed for Bindi Irwin rant

Fiona O'Loughlin has been criticised for her recent comments about the late Steve Irwin's 11-year-old daughter Bindi.
The Australian comedian, who is a recovering alcoholic, caused outrage by referring to Bindi as a "bit creepy" and doing an impersonation of her voice on ABC show Spicks and Specks.
Fellow guest Chris Durling, who used to work with Bindi, tried to defend his friend, saying: "What you see is what you get," to which O'Loughlin replied: "Yeah, a freak show."
O'Loughlin then made a gesture indicating that the child star was crazy, before miming a slap across her face.
Complaints from viewers later flooded in, referring to O'Loughlin as "tasteless", "un-Australian" and accusing her of being a bully.
Durling told the Herald Sun afterwards: "I wasn't going to get into a Bindi debate on the show. She's like my little sister but I have gotten used to people having strong opinions about her."
Referring to her and her brother Bob as "strong little beings" since their father's death, he added: "They've had to listen to stuff like that about their dad for years, so they don't really take it to heart."
