Adam Dell 'is father of Lakshmi's baby'

Venture capitalist Adam Dell is reportedly the father of Padma Lakshmi's baby.

Lakshmi gave birth to her daughter Krisha Thea last month but has refused to publicly name the father.

A source has now told People that Dell fathered the child and the couple are discussing visitation rights.

However, another insider agreed that Dell is Krisha's dad but added that rumours of custody negotiations are "inaccurate".

"There already is a very fair agreement in place," the source said. "She doesn't want anything from him. She's juggling all of this with motherhood and preparing to go back to work and it's a lot to handle."

Meanwhile, Lakshmi explained that she is not ready to discuss the father of her child, saying: "I have a newborn! I just want some peace and privacy."
