Lastonia Leviston took the star to court last month, accusing him of unlawfully distributing the explicit video on his website during 2009.
In papers filed at New York's Manhattan Supreme Court, Leviston alleged that the 'In Da Club' artist had blurred out her then-lover Maurice Murray's face and altered the clip to depict himself in the guise of online character Pimpin' Curly wearing a curly wig and blue robe, while also adding his own narration.
Leviston is demanding compensation for the unauthorised use of her name and image, as well as for the emotional distress caused by the public release of the video.
However, 50 Cent has waved away the legal threat in an interview with Radio 1, joking to host Tim Westwood of the incident: "That wasn't me, that was Pimpin' Curly!
"A person tries to say you've done mental harm to them, then they may want to consider the recordings of Rick Ross saying that she's an actual call girl... So how distraught is she that a tape went out?"
