According to E!, the 41-year-old met his future wife in a grocery store parking lot last year in Los Angeles.
The couple have yet to announce a wedding date.
Vartan played Michael Vaughn for five seasons on ABC's Alias. He recently appeared on the TNT drama Hawthorne and will next be seen in big screen comedy High School.
