Silva finds work as Hollywood shop girl

Adele Silva has reportedly taken a job as a shop assistant after failing to find acting work in LA.

The Emmerdale star left the soap in 2007 and moved to America in 2009 following her split from long-term partner Anthony Costa.

Silva, who played Kelly Windsor on the ITV soap, has also launched a dog-walking business with her actress friend Ceri Bethan called 'Walkies Of Fame', according to the Daily Mail.

The 29-year-old said: "I'm a jobbing actress and in this climate you can either sell your soul or do an honest day's work."
