Simmons 'unimpressed by reality TV'

Kimora Lee Simmons has revealed that she doesn't like watching reality television.

The Kimora: Life In The Fast Lane star explained that her programme is completely different to a programme like the Gosselins's Jon & Kate Plus 8.

"I would never do a show like [that]," she told E! News. "My show is not like that. My show is about me as a businesswoman.

"My kids are the B-story or C-story... You're just not watching them run through the house and have temper tantrums and pick out what they're wearing for dinner."

Simmons, who has a 10-month-old son and two daughters, explained that her children don't watch many programmes.

"We just don't watch a lot of TV," she said. "TV's kind of crap. Even the news is crap."

She added that she would "absolutely not" watch Jersey Shore, explaining: "I have a house in Jersey. I don't need to know what the kids are doing on the shore. I can only imagine. I've seen the hair - no thank you!"

The third season of Kimora: Life In The Fab Lane premieres Sunday on the Style Network.
