Love Hewitt chopped hair for "a change"

Jennifer Love Hewitt has revealed that she cut off her hair in order to make a "change" in her life.

The Ghost Whisperer star, who recently broke up with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, said that the hair cut marked the end of the latest season of her show more than her relationship split.

Love Hewitt told Us Magazine: "I needed to feel lighter! We just finished season five of [Ghost Whisperer], and I was just ready for a change."

The 31-year-old star also talked about her weight loss regime, saying: "I try to work out three or four times a week and eat healthy and that's about it."
