Bar Refaeli "needed" DiCaprio respite

Bar Refaeli has admitted that her six-month break from boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio made their relationship stronger.

According to People, the model contended that the respite is something she is now grateful for.

"I needed it. I came to understand a lot of things about myself," she said.

"I worked on myself [and] I grew up. I didn't know what 'alone' was like. Today I know that a relationship can work only if you know you can be alone and you are not afraid. Today I'm not afraid of being alone."

Though the two are back together, the Israeli added that they have no plans to get married.

"I'm not thinking of getting married. I am still young, not yet 25," she said.
