Angelina Jolie has been named as one of the 'most controversial' mothers in the world.

The Babble.com list rates "octomom" Nadya Suleman as number one, with Kate Gosselin in second place.

The website reads that it is "easy to despise someone like Angelina Jolie" but adds that "we love her" for her "empathy, compassion and generosity".

The 'best mum' list mentioned stars such as Jennifer Garner, Michelle Obama and Reese Witherspoon.
