Spelling, McDermott deny split rumours

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have denied rumours that they are about to split up.

The speculation began when footage from the fifth season of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood allegedly leaked earlier this week, but the couple have now insisted that they are happy.

"We're a normal married couple and I think it gets heightened when it's in the press and you're in the public eye," Spelling told Access Hollywood.

"No relationship is perfect. No marriage is perfect. There's ebbs and flows and we go through struggles just like everyone else."

McDermott also claimed that editing can change the perception of their marriage, explaining: "They can take a little thing from your relationship and spin it into anything they want."

Spelling continued: "It starts to feed. The frenzy feeds and then it grows and grows and today we're [reportedly] divorcing."

Last month, the couple revealed that they are hoping to have more children in the future.
