Van Outen, Mead planning date nights

Denise Van Outen has claimed that she is planning date nights with Lee Mead for after her pregnancy.

The TV presenter, 35, and West End star, 28, are expecting their first child together next month. However, Van Outen claimed that the couple do not want the new arrival to dampen their romance.

"We'll go through tough times having our first baby - couples naturally do. We want to make time for each other so everything doesn't become about the baby," she told Closer.

"We're even going to have date nights! He's more romantic than me so I'll have to see what he has up his sleeve.

"He already books all my pregnancy massages and I came home the other day to find a voucher for a pedicure and foot massage. He's really sweet."

The former Big Breakfast presenter also claimed that Mead is enjoying her curvier figure during the pregnancy.

"Lee loves my pregnancy body," she said. "He's on tour with a play at the moment so when he comes home every Sunday, my waistline has grown another few inches. But he always says I look fantastic."
