Sophie Anderton has revealed that her recent stalker scare forced her to move out of London.

The former model and reality TV star admitted in court last month that she had been left "hysterical" after Paul Davis bombarded her with text messages about marriage.

David was found guilty of harassment last week and given a 18-month conditional discharge. However, Anderton claimed that the incident forced her to reconsider her lifestyle and prompted her recent move to the countryside.

"He can't find me because I've moved to the country and I live in the middle of nowhere. That was a lifestyle choice and I am very happy," she told GMTV.

"It's great for me personally. My post goes to my management office and my phone's not in my name. I don't want to risk this happening again. I had to really take a good look at what was going on in my life. It's made me realise I want to be much more private."

Anderton also said that having a stalker left her too scared to go out in London. "I couldn't go to restaurants, I wouldn't go to events. I found it very intimidating and very intrusive." she said.
