The daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love was a guest vocalist on Amanda Palmer's new concept album, Evelyn Evelyn. However, Palmer believes that Bean is not interested in following in her parents' footsteps, People reports.
"She's got a great voice," Palmer said. "But she's a really good visual artist. She's really interested in graphic novels.
"She's really smart, level-headed, motivated, and incredibly funny. She has her own really strong personal work ethic and she wants to find her own voice and make her own art and she's going to do it by playing by her own rules."
The 17-year-old was reportedly intrigued by Palmer's concept for the album, which centres on the theme of a twin singer-songwriter duo. The pair met because Bean is a fan of Palmer's fiancé, graphic novelist Neil Gaiman.
Bean's voice was mixed into a chorus that also features "Weird Al" Yankovic, Tegan and Sara and Gerard Way.
The album was released on Tuesday.
