The Dawson's Creek actor's nearly seven-year marriage to actress Heather McComb will officially be over on June 3, according to court records.
Van Der Beek has agreed to pay his ex-partner spousal support through to 2012.
The couple were married in July 2003. Van Der Beek filed for divorce last November after months of separation from McComb.
The 33-year-old is currently recurring on NBC's Mercy.
