'Rugby comes first' says Henson

Gavin Henson has reportedly told girlfriend Charlotte Church that she would be given the boot if their relationship ever affected his game.

The Sun quotes him as saying: "Rugby is my first love.

"Charlotte's making me a very happy person and we get on very well. Rugby comes first though - without it I'm nothing so I have to make sure that's right. If any off-field activities affected my game in any way it would all stop.

"I'll be going away for six or seven weeks but she wants to come out for a few days during the tour. It is important to have the people you care about out there with you."
