Hurley: 'Hugh Grant is important to me'

Liz Hurley has revealed that she still keeps in touch with ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant.

The actress, who split with the actor ten years ago, has admitted that despite being married to Indian textile heir Arun Nayar, she frequently speaks to Grant.

The 44-year-old told Hello: "Hugh is very important to me. We talk a lot and buoy each other up if we're feeling down."

Hurley, who was with Grant for 13 years, has said that she likes that the two have a shared past.

She said: "There are a lot of short cuts when you talk to someone you've known for years. It's such a relief never having to explain any history, as they've shared it with you along the way."

Hurley also claimed that Grant used to borrow her skincare products when they were dating to upkeep his looks.

She added: "He's been using Estee Lauder's Re-Nutriv moisturiser for years. He used to nick mine when we were together, but now they send it to him."
