Love Hewitt: 'Friends give dating advice'

The Ghost Whisperer star, who recently ended her romance with co-star Jamie Kennedy, has insisted that her friends provide her real-life dating references.
Speaking to Marie Claire, the actress said: "I call my friends Ashton and Jenny and they always tell me the truth. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. I don't leave the house without asking them at least 40 questions, once they approve, I'm set to go."
When asked what was the best advice her friends ever gave her, she added: "The best advice they've ever given - at least the advice that’s fit for print - is probably, what you put out there people will accept. If you walk out of the house and think you feel great, or if someone tells you that you look amazing, believe it and just say thank you."
Hewitt recently released her first book The Day I Shot Cupid.
