Perroncel disappointed with Bridge offer

Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel has been left disappointed by his offer to buy her a £2m home, according to reports.

The pair, who have been trying to agree a settlement since it emerged that Bridge's best friend John Terry had had an affair with Perroncel, have joint custody of their 3-year-old son Jaydon.

The Sun says that the 33-year-old French model has been looking at £3m houses in Surrey, and will request a further £700,000 from the footballer.

A source said: "Vanessa is being given the money so that she can choose where she wants to bring up Jaydon.

"But both places she looked at were vastly over the £2m budget and were apartments so were not suitable for bringing up a child."

The insider added: "The trouble is she wants to live in one of the swankiest parts of London where even £2m doesn't go very far."

A spokesman for Perroncel stated: "It's an argument between the two lawyers. She has categorically not asked for anything specific. All she wants is a fair settlement for her and her little boy."
