Ashton wanted to 'Punk' dead pope

Ashton Kutcher has apparently spoken about a strange idea for a new Punk'd skit.

The actor was reportedly keen to use the recent death of Pope John-Paul II as the focus of a prank on the MTV show.

"We should've moved Punk'd to Italy," the National Enquirer quote him as saying. "And then bring the other old pope out and go: 'Look, he's still alive. We got ya!'

"It kinda bummed me out [that we didn't do it]. I didn't think of it in time, so we couldn't make it to Italy."
