Voice scare for Eurovision hopeful Javine

Javine, the UK's entry for Eurovision 2005, is suffering from a throat infection, according to The Mirror today.
The singer is worried that she will not be able to perform at the contest in Kyiv tonight. A specialist has put her on a course of antibiotics, however, her voice was apparently "cracked and weak" during yesterday's rehearsals.
"In the morning I panicked as it's the last thing I need," Javine told the newspaper. "Fortunately people were very understanding and I was able to cancel promo commitments.
"I'm gonna have a good night's rest and am really hoping I'll be much better. I've just got to fight this off and do the UK proud."
Javine's spokesman added, "It's incredibly frustrating for all of us that this has happened. She has a really inflamed throat. It's the worst timing. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and she'll give it her best."
