Denise Van Outen has admitted that she is scared about becoming a mother.

Van Outen announced her pregnancy in November but has now confessed that she is worried about looking after a child.

"I keep having these horrible nightmares that I'll drop the baby," she told Now Celeb Mum and Baby. "Or that I'll leave her somewhere. And you just have to trust that won't happen."

However, Van Outen revealed that her husband Lee Mead is also nervous about becoming a parent.

"He's scared about two things," she explained. "Bathing the baby, where he's worried about dropping her, and changing her clothes. Because a newborn's arms are so small and tiny you think you're going to break them."

Van Outen recently said that she and Mead will try for another baby as soon as she has given birth.
