Andre, Price call cops over 'black eye'

Katie Price and Peter Andre apparently called the police following an argument about their daughter's 'black eye' - which was actually smudged mascara.

Andre called his legal team after Princess Tiaamii, 2, arrived at his house on Friday with what appeared to be a facial bruise. It later emerged that the youngster's eye make-up had simply smudged, according to the News Of The World.

However, before the discovery was made, Andre's lawyers contacted Price's legal representative to raise concerns over bruising on the little girl's face. Price, in turn contacted the police with welfare concerns.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We have no concerns for the child's welfare, and the matter has been closed."

Meanwhile, a friend of the estranged couple said that they both need to "grow up and stop wasting people's time".

A spokesman for Price declined to comment, while a friend of Andre's said that he would have preferred the matter to remain private.

"It's dragging the kids into another row. They don't need it," he said.
