The Bachelorette star, who met her fiancé Ed Swiderski on the show, told People that the gossip does not change their life together.
"What happens on the internet or on TV, or the speculations that people make, does not define the outcome of our life," she explained.
Harris added that although she is now looking forward to her wedding, she did not fall in love with Swiderski straight away.
"You don't really fall in love until three to six months after the show ends," she revealed. "Luckily with Ed we are a lot alike, we have the same values, we have the same upbringing... I really fell in love with him after the show.
"We are definitely in love and we definitely are going to be married. We're hoping it will be in the next year or two. We're both excited."
Harris also praised Vienna Girardi, who is engaged to the latest Bachelor Jake Pavelka.
"She's a doll," she said. "I like her as a person. I saw how she brought out a better side of him."
