Alex Reid 'sets up LA acting meetings'

Alex Reid has reportedly received a career boost thanks to a chance meeting with top TV producer Bryan Fuller.

According to The Mirror, Reid struck up a conversation with Fuller and other US executives at the reception of London's Soho Hotel last week.

It is thought that the cage fighter was soon receiving advice on how he should achieve his ambition of becoming a Hollywood movie star. He has apparently since taken the guidance on board and set up appointments in Los Angeles.

A source close to Reid told The Mirror: "This may be the bit of luck he needed."

Fuller is known for his work on Heroes and for being the man behind Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies.
